Global company marks local ties with new charity partnerships with the Joe Glover Trust, Saints in the Community and SKIP
Business is booming in Southampton for IT and business solutions provider, aap3. This Friday (22nd January), one of the fastest growing companies in the region will officially mark the opening of its new global headquarters. John Denham, MP for Southampton Itchen, will be among VIPs and staff celebrating, and will cut the ribbon on the new offices. aap3 will be the first tenant at the new Benham Campus development at Southampton University Science Park, which will also officially open on the same day.

 On Sunday the 25th October, four member of the aap3 team completed the Great South Run for aap3’s house charity, the Joe Glover Trust.
Carl Nichols, Aaron Featherstone, Mark Percival and Anna Percival have been training for the event and collecting sponsorship funds since spring this year. The team all finished with respectable times, ranging from 1 hour 20 minutes to 1 hour 40 minutes.

 aap3 is set to increase its annual turnover from £16million to £27million following the acquisition of Preferred IT, a specialist recruitment business for its sector.
All aap3 and Preferred IT’s Southampton based staff will be located at the company’s new prestigious headquarters in the Benham Campus development at Southampton University Science Park.

As a result of such initiatives, the video market has seen steady levels of growth in the last year, a trend highlighted by a recent Cisco report which stated; “video communications traffic—including video over instant message and video calls—in 2013 will grow to 10 times its current size.”
