At aap3 we take our social and community responsibility very seriously. We like to work in partnership with local, national and global communities and during the year we support the charity’s own initiatives, campaigns and events in addition to organising a variety of our own company and employee activities.
aap3′s corporate social responsibility objective is to drive growth and variety in our portfolio of community involvement activities. We coordinate various activities, connecting our partners and encouraging the employees to participate. Our aim is to improve access to basic human needs, education, and economic opportunities and our support includes networking technologies and employee contributions of time, expertise and financial resources.
Our company name aap3 means ‘all about people, process & productivity’ and we work incredibly hard to promote a great sense of community within the company. It also means being a positive force in the wider community around us, which is why we want to support our chosen charities.
The aims of our CSR policy can be organised into 4 focus areas;

Through a variety of company and employee activities, and underpinning our ‘giving back’ to the community ethos we support numerous charities. Below are just a few of the charities we are committed to supporting throughout 2012.

Wessex Heartbeat’s mission is: That everyone affected by heart conditions receives the best possible support. Cardiovascular disease causes nearly 40% of all deaths annually in the UK. This sadly means that at some time, most of us will be affected by this disease whether it is ourselves, our loved ones or our colleagues.
Established in 1992, Wessex Heartbeat is one of the region’s major charities and exists to support the work of the Wessex Cardiac Centre (WCC), one of the UK’s leading heart treatment centres. Since 1992, the generosity of our supporters at all levels has enabled Wessex Heartbeat to raise over £13m which we have used to help ensure that the best possible care is provided to more than 20,000 patients treated at the centre each year. http://www.heartbeat.co.uk/home
Bay Area Homeless Children’s Network (HCN) strives to break the cycle of homelessness by providing relevant, effective mental health and family support services to homeless children and their families from around the world that find themselves in Northern California, empowering them to overcome the limitations of their circumstances and strive for a healthy, productive future. http://www.hcnkids.org
