An overview of Network Discoveries

Network Discovery is an activity, using software tools, to connect to a network and discover the Cisco devices that make up the network, resulting in a report that contains the inventory details for each device. The inventory details consist primarily of the devices hostname, its Cisco Product Number, the Serial Number and its location address.
