The economy certainly seems to be forcing businesses consider their options when it comes to creative industries. I heard the other day that Gartner had reported that 70-something percent of businesses can expect their marketing budget to be cut by around 30%. - that’s a lot off our bottom line! What is your website’s role? Does it earn its keep? Is there even any sign of an ROI?
If you answered no, you are probably part of a large majority of website owners. At aap3, we don’t think that it is OK for a website to just act as an online business card – a business card is only useful in the hands of a potential customer. The question is, what does your website do to make sure potential customers can find you and even better that they get in touch?

One of our IT clients has employees scattered all over the globe. We had created a proposal document about six months ago that was going to be used for a number of different clients, which was handled by multiple account managers.
Last week, someone sent me an adaptation of the document which had just been sent to a prospect... The document was one of the very first versions still complete with typos, incorrect pricing... how do you prevent this from happening?...

What is a Domain Name?
A domain name is the 'www.whatever.com ' that you type into your web browser (Internet Explorer / Firefox etc) which produces your website. For example, you visited www.aap3.com to get to this website.
How do I get a Domain Name?
Not all domain names will be available as lots of them have already been snapped up by others. There are many places to check whether your domain name is available. I personally use 123-reg as their site is very simple to use. Check to see if your domain name is available here.
